In one of our latest blogs , we discussed about the South Texas 13 th court of appeals judge that failed her field sobriety test back in July. But recently the Dallas, another official was arrested for a similar reason. The Dallas assistant District Attorney was charged with a DWI .
Justin Moore was arrested for a DWI after police saw him swerving in and out of traffic, tailgating cars and nearly sideswiping a car. According to police, Moore threatened the police saying he was going to make sure they lost their jobs. Reports also indicated that Moore was yelling out racial slurs to the officers calling them an "Uncle Tom" and members of the Ku Klux Klan. In addition, Moore refused to take any sobriety tests and refused to answer any questions indication anything about alcohol. Moore was suspended until pay until further notice.
As you can see, it is possible for officials and people with titles to make mistakes. Good people do make mistakes. Unfortunately, people get DWI's; however, it is unacceptable for an official to act in a condescending manner. The fact that he thought the fate of the officer's jobs rested in his hands was despiteful. A person with such authority needs to act professionally. What do you think?
