Alexis Griffin

Alexis was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and split her childhood between Oklahoma and Wisconsin.

She spent summers visiting her grandparents in Texas and moved here as soon as she graduated high school.

Alexis graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas in 2020 and was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree (International Studies) and a minor in Spanish.

In the fall of 2020, Alexis began her legal education at Texas A&M University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor in 2023.

During law school, Alexis was on the boards of the Black Law Students Association, the Women of Color Collective, and the Women’s Law Students Association.

After becoming a licensed attorney in 2023, Alexis began her legal career at the Denton County District Attorney’s Office, where she quickly took on a broad and demanding caseload.
